Research has shown an increased risk of complications in contact lens wearers between the ages of 14 and 25, but what is the best way for eye care professionals to move forward with that information? Identifying risk factors listed in the literature, recorded in patient records and identified by experts, the Contact Lens Assessment in Youth study group has developed a tool designed to help practitioners assess potential risk factors in order to provide young adults with targeted prescriptions and contact lens training.
